Machete Plot Summary/Synopsis
Machete is about the story of eternal love between Aginaya (Bela Padilla) and Machete (Aljur Abrenica). Fighting for their love, the warrior Machete will face his death. A mysterious tree rose up from the land where his remains were buried.After long years, this tree became a place of solace for the woman Rosella (also played by Bela Padilla). And in her lonely moments she would draw the face of a man she imagines.
The sketches she has made will find its way to a famous sculptor Marla (Ryza Cenon), who turned the trunk of the tree into a handsome and masculine figure which is Machete.
And in the night, the statue comes to life! This is the answer to Aginaya's prayer of continuing their love story. Aginaya will come back to life through Rosella.
