About 24 Oras

24 Oras was launched in 2004, and has become one of the most watched news program in the country. Hosted by Mel Tiangco, Mike Enriquez and Pia Guanio, it airs every 6:30 PM which is simulcast on DZBB and aired worldwide through GMA Pinoy TV.

On August 11, 2008, 24 Oras was relaunched for the second time with a new set similar to the desk used by CBS Evening News, new graphics and titles.

On February 21, 2010, a weekend edition was launched hosted by Pia Archangel, Jiggy Manicad, Luanne Dy and Grace Lee.

On April 2010, 24 Oras became the home to Vizrt Touchscreen system, a real-time broadcast solutions sytem which is used in the YouScoop segment designed and developed by GMA New Media.
